Anxiety

Anxiety can be a normal part of life.

It can motivate us to face difficult challenges and circumstances, stimulate creativity and action, and can help maximize our performance. However, anxiety works against individuals living with anxiety disorders, which often includes frequent, intense and persistent fear and worry that negatively impacts one’s day to day life and functioning.

Individuals diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, experience excessive worry or fear most of the day, nearly every day. Social Anxiety Disorder is another common anxiety disorder that can result in an overwhelming fear of judgement from others, often resulting in isolation and loss of friendships.

Other kinds of anxiety disorders, such as panic disorder, causes physiological symptoms from an abrupt surge in fear resulting in recurring panic attacks.
These symptoms can cause significant distress and can impact many areas of someone’s life, including work, school, and family life.

The good news? Anxiety is treatable!

You don’t have to struggle alone anymore.
