Mission Hill Psychology

COVID-19 Update:

Due to COVID-19, I am seeing most patients through telepsychology (video and phone counselling).

I have a select few spots available for in-person sessions.

What should I expect in the first session?

A day before your appointment, I will ask you a series of COVID-19 screening questions to make sure you are safe to attend our sessions, as outlined by AHS guidelines and protocols. Immediately before our appointment, I will again ask you the same series of questions.

The first session typically involves a meet and greet, an orientation to therapy, completion of consent forms, and to answer any questions you may have. Typically, in the first session, I will take a history, including gathering important information and set goals that will help us guide treatment.

How long is a typical session?

Our face-to-face time is a 50-minute session. The remaining 10 minutes is dedicated to charting and documenting important information, such as outcomes of the session and planning for our next session together.

What are your fees? Which payment methods do you accept?

My fees are $200.00 per 50-minute therapy hour. This is in accordance with the Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA) fee schedule. I accept mastercard/visa, etransfer, cash, and cheque. I may consider sliding scale fees on a case by case basis.

Where are you located?

I am located in the NABI office building in downtown St. Albert. There is free parking on-site. After the COVID screening questions, I will meet you at the front doors and let you into the building!

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I can direct bill the following:

Alberta Blue Cross,
Medavie Blue Cross

Veterans Affairs

GreenShield

A receipt will be issued to you after session, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

It is your responsibility to figure out how many sessions are covered under your plan!
