Who I Help
I support professionals, healthcare workers, and high-achieving individuals who are experiencing burnout, chronic stress, or emotional exhaustion. Many of our clients are highly capable, responsible, and driven, yet find themselves depleted, disconnected, or struggling to sustain their performance.
What Burnout Really Is
Burnout is more than stress. It is a state of physical, emotional, and cognitive depletion that develops after prolonged periods of demand without recovery. Burnout can affect motivation, concentration, sleep, and emotional regulation. Understanding burnout is a critical step in meaningful recovery.
Common Signs of Burnout
Burnout often shows up as persistent exhaustion that doesn’t improve with rest, a loss of motivation or sense of meaning, difficulty concentrating or making decisions, increased irritability or emotional numbness, and a growing sense that sustaining your current level of performance is no longer possible.
My Approach to Burnout Treatment
My approach to burnout treatment is evidence-based therapy, structured, and personalized. Therapy focuses on restoring nervous system regulation, rebuilding boundaries, and addressing underlying patterns that contribute to exhaustion. Treatment is collaborative, confidential, and paced to support sustainable recovery.

Understanding Burnout in Nursing
In collaboration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
I am honoured to contribute my expertise in burnout prevention and recovery through continuing education initiatives. Most recently, I delivered a two-day webinar for the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), offering continuing education credit to more than 20,000 healthcare professionals.
In this continuing education webinar, I discuss how burnout specifically impacts nursing professionals and share how context matters within the constraints of the healthcare system. I share the causes and impact of burnout syndrome, and specific strategies for recovery and how to support colleagues who may be experiencing the syndrome.
